Location: Remote

Hours: full time

Contract: 6 months (maternity cover)

Languages: English fluent

Salary: EURO 4.500, - until 5.000, - gross a month based on a 40-hour workweek.

What are your tasks as a Category Manager?

In this role you will be responsible for the administrative part, negotiation, implementation and practical organisation of the contracts to maximise contract value and compliance. You are part of the team who is there to improve the supplier performance and you will provide input for future sourcing initiatives.

Summary of main tasks and responsibilities;

  • Develops and deploys vision and approved plan for her/his category and provides input to the Team Lead and Purchasing Director when implementing Regional plan.
  • Responsible for category strategy development as to deliver maximum value
  • Defines and leads regional cross-functional procurement teams
  • Develops and manages relationship with key suppliers and track their performance (Supplier Relationship Management)
  • Manages relationship with internal stakeholder during projects

What are your qualities as a Category Manager?

  • In-depth knowledge of Category management and Procurement processes (strategic and operational) in a business to business context
  • Professional experience (>5 yrs.) in Procurement, marketing & sales or product management;
  • Experience in international matrix organisations;
  • Change management capabilities
  • You have excellent English communication skills, you work in a proactive way, you are result driven and enjoy working in an international team;
  • Language: English (mandatory).
