Currently I am looking for a Customer Service Representative for one of our trusted partners within the chemical industry. The position description

In the role of a Customer Service Representative, your responsibilities include receiving and handling customer orders from clients around the globe. Additionally, you serve as a primary contact for your clients, ensuring they stay informed about the status of their order processing.

Job description & responsibilities

  • Effectively and swiftly managing both customer orders and inquiries;
  • Taking charge of the order management system, customer portfolios, and administrative tasks;
  • This entails comprehending established pricing, bonuses, discounts, delivery, and payment terms;
  • Professionally addressing customer inquiries, managing complaints, and ensuring proper follow-up;
  • Supervising product returns, guaranteeing careful handling, and timely invoicing for customers;
  • Providing assistance to the Sales team in account management, monitoring purchasing behavior, and overseeing inventory management;
  • Proactively recognizing shifts in customer preferences and market trends promptly;
  • Approaching obstacles with critical thinking and an open, solution-oriented mindset, all while maintaining efficiency in a dynamic environment where change and process improvements are the norm.

Skills and competencies

  • 2 years of relevant experience
  • You have good knowledge of SAP and MS Office
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken
  • You have an understanding of order processing procedures, Incoterms, and payment terms, and you have the ability to analyze the process critically and offer recommendations for enhancements.
  • You are a strong communicator, are customer focused, are friendly and have a proactive mindset
