Salary: 3.500 - 4.200 EUR gross/month (excluding secondary benefits)

About the role
We are searching for a talented Demand Planner to ensure the operations are timely, efficient, and cost-effective. You will assist in all demand planning duties, including estimating future product demand, analyzing inventory flow, and developing forecasting models. To be successful in this role, you should be professional, highly analytical, and possess excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.

  • Develop and execute best practices - reduce lead times and supply variations, optimize stock levels, and improve material margins through the Total Cost of Ownership model;
  • Front to end planning/scheduling - improve the availability of products;
  • Plan and coordinate the following activities - sourcing, freight management, and distribution to ensure timely availability of end products;
  • Drive accurate planning and the inputting of master data into our ERP system, resulting in better reporting and steering of planning related processes;
  • Maintain inventory at target levels to ensure high service levels;
  • Key member of all new product launches, coordinate all demand planning efforts;
  • Partnering with teams across the business - deliver commercial and operational requirements of the business;
  • Establish and manage range and portfolio processes;
  • Provide root cause analysis of stock-outs/overstocks with solutions to drive improvements
  • Deliver strategies for rotation and obsolescence management;
  • Issue, amend, and maintain purchase orders confirming supplier capabilities to meet requirements;
  • Maintain supplier performance metrics including, but not limited to, on-time delivery and price variance.


The Demand Planner is a…
A proactive and highly analytical individual that shows strong capacity in problem solving and analysing data. You are invaluable in making forecasts, developing and implementing strategies impacting supply chain, You are one of the first people in the supply chain, and as such are integral to the correct flow of resources.

As an individual you have a can-do attitude, can easily make social contact, and have a strong understanding of supply chain and planning. You are disciplined and can work independently (even with a manager on the other side of the world). You have demonstrated strong understanding of supply chain, or demand planning.

Your profile

  • Bachelor degree or master in supply chain (or related field);
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in demand planning;
  • Fluent in English and Dutch;
  • You live and breathe Microsoft excel;
  • You are sufficient in using SAP;
  • Strong analytical and process oriented skills;
  • Structured work ethic;
  • Experience in medical devices is a strong preference.
