Employer Brand Strategist

Location: Amsterdam

Contract: 12 months (first contract via JP Gray)

Language: English (fluent)

The Employer Brand Strategist will develop and lead the holistic BHI CoE EVP and Employer Brand aligned to the company's Mission, Values and overarching talent philosophy. This role will have an overarching strategic focus for both Bucharest and Bengaluru Centers of Excellence (CoE). The Employer Brand Strategist should be highly collaborative, have a passion for the latest developments in the talent marketing, employer brand and media space, and the desire to make a large commercial impact through the development of compelling candidate focused campaigns.

Key responsibilities of the Employer Branding

  • Develop overarching Employer Brand and Talent Marketing strategy for the company's Centers of Excellence.
  • Manage complex, large, or difficult projects/workstreams with little oversight; evaluate findings, prepare reports and make recommendations to senior management about the implications of alternative sales, marketing, and business development strategies; work closely with the CoE recruitment marketing leads to ensure a consistent framework and plan for execution from a global perspective, recognising the local nuances.
  • Be a trusted advisor to key business stakeholders, aligning core hiring initiatives with overall recruitment marketing goals.
  • Work closely with the CoE marketing leads to integrate global plan with regional agency execution.
  • Understand business needs and drives change accordingly, taking ownership of removing any impediments that slow down progress and innovation, even outside the team scope.
  • Strongly collaborate with other functions / units to find viable solution.
  • Able to lead projects with cross-functional impact on the organization.
  • Support evaluation and management of the company's Romania and Bengaluru participation in regional public-facing events, identifying locally relevant industry events and conferences alongside local employer brand leads to increase visibility and identifying appropriate speaking opportunities to define the company's leadership in this area.

Requirements of special knowledge/skills

  • Proven thought leader with 8+ years' experience in brand building environments.
  • Experience working at technology/internet/digital brand(s).
  • Fluent in English. Superior written and verbal communication skills. Excellent written & verbal communications skills and presentation skills
  • Deep expertise in brand oriented products is highly desirable.
  • Skilled in setting vision and strategic development, including project scoping, strategic options identification, consensus building, and implementation.
  • Ability to learn fast and adapt to a fast moving environment.
  • Creativity and "out of the box" thinking that drives innovation.
  • The ability to "see around corners" and "connect the dots" that enable business to proactively drive business, not just respond to it.
  • Curious & analytical - able to understand and interpret data, insights and business goals and translate them into brand strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexible and a positive attitude.
  • Self-motivated and able to take ownership of key topics.
  • Ability to distil complex business issues and strategies to highlight insights and actionable recommendations in a concise and persuasive manner.
  • Strong organizational skills; clear and strategic thinking with the ability to develop and execute multi-faceted strategies.
  • Ability to think creatively, approach Communication from new angles, and manage both up and down the organization.
  • Ability to act quickly and execute creative ideas locally, often with short lead time Proven success working closely with senior level executives on messaging, speaking opportunities, media requests, internal communications, and more.
  • Demonstrable experience in issues and crisis management.
