What you will be doing as junior HR Advisor
As HR Advisor for the Manufacturing Site Maasvlakte you will have multiple and diverse challenges on operational level to support the business realizing their goals and objectives.
You will function as an independent HR Advisor, supporting line management and employees for the Maasvlakte and Botlek site on day-to-day HR activities. Together with the Senior HR Business Partner, end-responsible for both the Botlek and Maasvlakte (BoMa), you will work on the HR Ambitions and HR agenda for medium and long term. You will be supported by an HR Assistant, dedicated to the Manufacturing Sites.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide one point of contact for line management and employees at operational level;
  • Facilitate the improvement of quality and delivery of HR processes and data requests.
  • Support the Sr HR Business Partner with various HR related operational matters such as data requests, hiring processes, employee separations, absenteeism, exit interviews, payroll changes, etc.
  • Responsible for the Data Quality of the administration in MyConnection/SAP.
  • Prepare and compile HR data for reports and statistics;
  • Execute and maintain local Policies in cooperation with the Senior HRBP;
  • Act as a trusted advisor to line management ensuring the establishment of best practices, aligned with HR policy procedures and practices, and consistent decision making processes across the lines of business.

You could be characterized by an assertive and enthusiastic person. You have the ability to communicate easily with all levels of employees from front line employees to mid management. You are used to prioritize and to work in a matrix reporting structure. With your excellent team working skills and ability to multi-task you manage to solve problems with a strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up.

  • Bachelor's degree with a preference in Human Resources Management;
  • You have experience in HR fundamentals and understanding of Dutch employment laws;
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience within HR as a HR Generalist or HR Advisor.
  • The ability to work with all levels of employees from front line employees to senior management.
  • Creative problem solver with strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, SuccessFactors and proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
  • Digital savvy;
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
