Inventory Planner

6 months (extension possible)

Location: Amsterdam

Contract: Full-time (40h);

Languages: fluent in English and (Dutch preferably)

Contract: 6 months via JP Gray (extension possible)

Purpose of the job

The Supply and Inventory Planner will contribute to coordinating long, medium and short term supply planning across networks to address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals. In this role you will maintain end-to-end accountability for all the flows you are planning, monitoring key integrated business planning performance indicators, cost to serve performance data and you will help coordinate cross functional work teams to meet high customer service standards. The scope of the position includes raw materials and finished goods for all global flows supplied by EMEA region.

What you will be doing as Business Process Analyst:

  • Maintain data relevant to network distribution and inventory planning activities including capacity, constraint, logistics, supplier, master and location data.
  • Generate and execute cycle and safety stock plans for the assigned product or location, using the approved supply plan inputs.
  • Develop gap coverage plans during inventory shortages.
  • Create requirements plan and long term supply plan for assigned products and locations as input for the integrated business planning cycle.
  • Communicate with vendors and supply partners for coordination of execution of the purchase orders and requirements.
  • Generate periodic reports to provide visibility on stocks, supply plans and performance metrics to key stakeholders.
  • Lead the Weekly Supply & Operation Execution meeting for the categories under their responsibility.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

What does your profile look like?

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Minimum of two years of related work experience in Supply chain or Inventory Planning
