The role and its responsibilities
Your core responsibility will be to lead, inspire and guide (management)teams with implementing the daily management system, coaches them in developing problem solving techniques and lean leaders behaviour. In this hands-on role you will interact with, and influence, all levels of our organization - from the production site to the boardroom. As such, this is an exciting opportunity for someone who can encourage others to excel. It is also a role in which team dynamics, a constantly changing work environment, and a wide variety project topics (from technical projects on site to projects improving business processes) combine to create an excellent opportunity to develop yourself both personally and professionally.

You will act as a valued part of a team of 4 project managers, located in Amsterdam & UK, reporting to the Head of Operational Excellence. Due a successful enrolment of the project on two other sites, it has now become a global project.

Flexibility to travel is a must in this position as you will be on site 80% of your time. All site are located in Europe.

The central team facilitates your development into the role, by focusing on knowledge sharing. This includes the execution of important manufacturing or business projects that benefit the overall performance of the company and playing an active role in promoting the continuous improvement mind-set within the organization.

Your profile
For this position a few requirement have to meet to complete a successful application.;

  • Masters qualification, preferably in a 'technical' direction such as Engineering, Business Administration (Technical), Supply Chain or equivalent.
  • Between 3 and 6 years of relevant working experience, experience within manufacturing is a strong requirement.
  • Continuous improvement mind-set, affinity with L6S is an advantage.
  • Willing and able to travel.
  • A high standard of written and spoken English, with German and French as an advantage
