Logistics Planner
2 days per week in Middelburg
3 days remote or in Rotterdam

What are the deliverables?
In your role as a Logistics Planner you will oversee transportation planning for assigned customers and manage the transit of inventory to assigned partners. This means you are responsible for creating, scheduling and managing all incoming and outgoing shipments to the assigned plant(s).

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of key customers, supplier, and products in area of responsibility;
  • Plan and execute shipment of raw materials and finished goods from shipping facilities to customer locations in a timely and cost-effective manner;
  • Identify opportunities to improve cost and carriers service levels to meet customer demands;
  • Improve transport planning effectiveness via development and/or enhancement of planning models, processes and tools.

  • A 7 months contract provided by JP Gray, with possible extension.
  • A 39hrs working week with the possibility to work from home
  • Salary indication between EUR 3000 - EUR 3600 gross per month excl. holiday allowance.
  • 25 holidays (based on full time)
  • Travel allowance: 100% when travelling with public transport or EUR 0.19 cent per kilometre.

What is your profile?

A service oriented person that shows a strong character, is a team player, and has a strong analytical capacity. You are an excellent communicator and you love to solve problems in order to fully service your clients.

  • 3 - 5+ years' experience in Logistics, Transportation or a similar role
  • Bachelor's degree, Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field preferred
  • Fluent in English, if you speak Dutch than this will be a huge plus
  • Knowledge and experience in Import/Export
  • Experience in a manufacturing facility, chemical manufacturing preferred
  • Experience with ERP (SAP)
