Senior Brand Manager

Where will you work?

You will work for a chemical company that is active in more than 150 countries in the world.

What you will be doing as a Senior Brand Manager:

You will be responsible for managing projects for portfolio improvements projects for a number of product categories with a 70-80% B2B and 20-30% B2C focus. In terms of product portfolio management, you initiate and manage product launches or relaunches, including portfolio, recipes, colour palette and support materials (POS, brochures, colour collateral, etc).

Next to this your role will also include the following responsibility:

  • Functional leadership of one Jr Brand Manager e.g. training in the marketing discipline and make sure alignment and priorities are kept. In doing so you work closely with colleagues from Sales, Customer Marketing, Communications, R&D, Traject management and Digital.
  • You monitor the below the line communication in cooperation with Customer & Digital marketing.
  • In addition, you translate global initiatives into successful local activities using global activation toolkits. Proactively manage and analyse sales figures and perform tail management.

Key objectives:

  • Compose yearly marketing brandplan (locally and on EMEA level) in cooperation with the marketing manager, aimed at realization of the marketing objectives of the organization.
  • Initiate / own briefings for brand campaigns with the Activation manager.
  • Responsible for the annual product innovation roadmap process.
  • Manage product range in order to achieve cost-efficient and high-quality results based on collected market insights.
  • Initiate and perform innovations/product enhancements with high added value.
  • Execute price policy and analyse price policy of the competitors.
  • Analyse market evolutions based on market research executed by in-or external agencies in order to formulate conclusions for composing or redirecting the marketing plan.
  • Monitor proactive the sales figures and campaign results, notify the remarkable elements to the marketing manager and tune actions if necessary.
  • Perform the product launches based on strategic global policies regarding aspects of marketing communication (launch campaign, brochure, website, direct mail etc).
  • Translate the global guidelines to the local market and use best practices.

Your profile:

  • Master in discipline Marketing/Communication.
  • 4-8 Years complete marketing mix multinational.
  • Social skills, creative, innovative, analytical, convincingly, team player, proactive project management skills, communicator.
  • Dutch and English; oral and written.
