About the Role

For one of our international partners in the tech industry, we are looking for an Employee Experience Researcher to strengthen their People Analytics and Employee Listening capability.
Based at the Amsterdam headquarters, you will be part of a fast‑paced People department and work within the Employee Listening Team. This team ensures employee voices are captured at moments that matter and translated into insights that shape people strategy, workplace decisions and culture.
Operating at both strategic and operational level, you will lead end‑to‑end research across the People space, including wellbeing, D&I, performance and workplace strategy. You will work closely with senior leaders, People Centers of Excellence and advanced analytics teams.
This role suits an experienced researcher who works independently, challenges assumptions and enjoys turning complex data into clear direction.

What You'll Do

Research & prioritisation

  • Assess and challenge research requests based on impact and business value
  • Define research objectives, hypotheses and success criteria

Research execution

  • Lead end‑to‑end qualitative and quantitative research projects
  • Design and run surveys, interviews and focus groups using mixed methods

Analysis & insight

  • Triangulate insights across datasets, methods and external research
  • Partner with Advanced Analytics and Data Science teams

Experience design & communication

  • Apply Design Thinking to improve employee journeys and workplace experiences
  • Translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders
  • Facilitate workshops to align stakeholders and drive decision‑making

Ethics & enablement

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and research ethics standards
  • Educate stakeholders on experience research methods and best practices

What You Bring

  • 3-5+ years' experience in experience, people or UX research
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills
  • Proven ability to lead research independently end‑to‑end
  • Experience working with senior and less research‑experienced stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills
  • Experience in HR or People contexts is a plus
  • Hands‑on with tools such as Tableau, Google Sheets and Miro
  • Familiarity with SPSS, R or Python is a plus
  • Fluent in English

Nice‑to‑Have

  • Experience in large, international or tech‑driven organisations
  • Exposure to employee listening programmes or organisational surveys
  • Background in psychology, sociology or human‑centred design
