What are you going to do?
As a Finance Audit Specialist, you will play a key role within the European Finance team. You will coordinate statutory audits across multiple entities and act as the main point of contact between internal teams and external auditors. In this role, you will not only ensure compliance and accurate reporting but also actively contribute to improving audit processes and strengthening internal controls. You will work closely with departments such as Finance, HR, Logistics, and Operations in a dynamic and international environment.

What does your job contain?

• Coordinating statutory audits across multiple entities in Europe
• Acting as the primary contact for external auditors
• Managing audit timelines, deliverables, and follow-ups
• Collecting and preparing audit documentation from ERP and finance systems
• Preparing reconciliations and supporting audit requests
• Monitoring audit progress and resolving outstanding items
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities
• Improving audit processes, templates, and internal controls
• Collaborating with multiple internal departments and stakeholders

What does your profile look like?

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
• Around 5 years of relevant finance experience
• 2-3 years of experience in audit (internal or external)
• Experience with statutory audits and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of financial controls and reconciliations
• Familiar with ERP systems and advanced Excel
• Knowledge of IFRS and/or Dutch GAAP is a plus
• Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Fluent in English
