Are you passionate about transforming finance organisations and designing smarter, more efficient ways of working?
We are looking for experienced Finance Architect to join a newly established transformation team focused on reimagining the future of Finance. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a large-scale finance transformation programme, helping to create an AI-first operating model while delivering tangible business value.
You will work at the intersection of Finance, Technology, Operations and Business Strategy, partnering with senior stakeholders to redesign processes, identify innovation opportunities and build future-state solutions that enable long-term growth and operational excellence.
This is not a traditional technical architecture role. We are looking for professionals who combine strong finance process expertise with transformation, change and stakeholder management experience.
About the Role
As a Finance Solution Architect, you will help shape the future of finance capabilities across the organisation. You will work closely with finance leaders, product and technology teams, designers and external consulting partners to identify opportunities for improvement, redesign end-to-end processes and deliver sustainable transformation outcomes.
You will balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, ensuring that both immediate improvements and long-term transformation initiatives are successfully delivered.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end finance process redesign initiatives.
- Translate business requirements into scalable future-state solutions.
- Support the development of an AI-first Finance operating model.
- Identify and implement process improvements that deliver measurable business impact.
- Drive finance transformation programmes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Challenge existing ways of working and influence stakeholders towards better outcomes.
- Collaborate with finance leadership, technology teams, developers and design specialists.
- Partner with external consultancy teams to define and execute transformation roadmaps.
- Help establish best practices, innovation frameworks and new ways of working within a newly formed team.
- Contribute to an Innovation Lab focused on experimentation, optimisation and future capabilities.
What You Bring
- Strong understanding of finance processes and operating models.
- Proven experience redesigning and improving financial processes.
- Experience within finance transformation, business transformation or change programmes.
- Approximately 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and influence senior finance leaders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- A hands-on, proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership.
- Experience translating business needs into practical, scalable solutions.
- A collaborative approach combined with the confidence to challenge the status quo.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- SAP Finance experience.
- Lean methodology knowledge and application.
- Six Sigma certification.
- Experience within large-scale transformation programmes.
- AI-enabled transformation or automation projects.
- Finance operating model design experience.
- Process Excellence or Continuous Improvement background.
Systems & Tools
Experience with one or more of:
- SAP
- SAP FICO
- SAP S/4HANA
- Process Mining tools
- Business Process Management platforms
- AI and Automation solutions
- Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Lean and Six Sigma frameworks
