Senior Business Operations Associate
Enable disciplined execution across value streams by bringing structure, transparency, and delivery focus into a complex, evolving environment.
This role is about making execution work. You operate at the intersection of value stream management, Agile delivery, and operational governance - ensuring initiatives are visible, aligned, and moving forward at pace.
You will play a key role in strengthening how teams plan, track, and deliver work across the CSR Gold Delivery Model, with a strong focus on Jira, Agile ways of working, and cross‑departmental coordination. This is a hands‑on role where autonomy, judgement, and the ability to push back constructively are essential.
This is a 6‑month freelance assignment, with potential for extension.
Start date: 15 June 2026 (flexible for the right candidate).
Hybrid: 3 days per week onsite (Tuesdays/Thursdays preferred, flexible).
What you'll do
Drive value stream execution and alignment
- Track and align initiatives across multiple value streams, primarily within the Traveler value stream and occasionally AI‑related initiatives.
- Maintain oversight of dependencies, risks, and delivery progress across teams.
- Ensure priorities and commitments remain aligned across product, technology, and operations.
Own portfolio visibility and reporting
- Consolidate weekly reporting across teams into a clear, actionable portfolio view.
- Ensure consistent alignment on key deliverables, milestones, and metrics across departments.
- Provide transparency to senior stakeholders on progress, risks, and decisions.
Enable Agile ways of working
- Structure and maintain Jira taxonomy, boards, workflows, and EPIC‑level tracking.
- Support the rollout of a new Agile approach across teams.
- Work hands‑on with teams to drive Jira adoption, usage consistency, and delivery discipline.
- Act as a point of reference for Agile tooling and operational standards.
Manage stakeholder communication and cadence
- Participate in daily stand‑ups and ongoing delivery forums.
- Facilitate cross‑functional meetings between product, technology, and operational teams.
- Drive clarity on decisions, ownership, and next steps.
- Push back where necessary to protect delivery focus and operational processes.
What you bring
Experience
- 6-10 years' experience in Business Operations, Delivery Management, Agile Programme Management, or Portfolio / PMO roles within tech‑enabled environments.
- Proven experience working across multiple teams and value streams.
- Strong hands‑on experience in Agile delivery environments.
Skills
- Advanced Jira expertise (boards, workflows, taxonomy, EPIC‑level management).
- Experience with Confluence for documentation and team hubs.
- Familiarity with reporting and resource tools such as Tableau or similar.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to challenge and influence.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments.
