Position

For one of our international partners in the Chemicals sector, we are looking for an Account Specialist to play a key role within the Customer Service and Order-to-Cash process.
In this role, you will manage your own customer portfolio and ensure flawless execution of the end-to-end order fulfilment process - from order intake to delivery and invoicing.
You will act as a SME within the team, supporting colleagues, solving complex operational challenges and acting as the go-to person for escalations.
This is a dynamic role combining customer service, supply chain coordination and process improvement, within an international and fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer orders from intake through to delivery and invoicing
  • Act as the primary point of contact for your customer portfolio, ensuring high service levels
  • Coordinate closely with Planning, Sales, Supply Chain and Finance to optimise order execution
  • Act as escalation point for complex customer and operational issues
  • Support and coach junior team members as Subject Matter Expert
  • Participate in supply chain and cross-functional improvement projects
  • Maintain and monitor data accuracy within SAP (e.g. customer master data)
  • Identify and implement improvements within the Customer Service and Order-to-Cash process

You have / are

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Fluency in English and French or Spanish
  • 3-5 years of experience in Customer Service and/or Supply Chain
  • Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash processes
  • Experience working in SAP and MS Office
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle complex situations
  • Proactive mindset with focus on improvement and ownership
