Drive HR change in a complex, international organisation
This role sits at the heart of a transforming organisation. As HR Representative / Recruiter, you will help shape how HR operates during a period of significant change; organisational, structural and cultural.
With multiple legal entities, different CLA's, employees across Europe and ongoing private equity-related transitions, this is not a role for someone who needs a hand to hold. It is a role for someone who enjoys building, improving and making things work in complex environments.
You will operate across two main focus areas: HR Operations & Change (70%) and Recruitment (30%), working closely with HR, payroll and business stakeholders across locations.
What you'll do
Lead and support HR operations and change (70%)
- Translate new and changing labour legislation, CLA agreements and global policies into clear, workable HR processes.
- Design and implement HR policy changes that improve efficiency and employee experience.
- Drive and support HR system implementations and process improvements, using your advanced system skills.
- Actively support change management: facilitating adoption, training stakeholders and navigating resistance.
- Partner closely with HRBPs, payroll and the business across multiple European locations.
- Advise managers and employees on local HR specifics, CLA topics and organisational changes.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, contracts, transfers, promotions, education agreements and pension-related processes.
- Support audits, surveys, reporting and procurement processes.
Shape and deliver recruitment (30%)
- Develop sourcing strategies with line management and HR to meet both short- and long-term talent needs.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and selection processes in line with agreed procedures.
- Prepare and guide candidates through the selection process, ensuring a strong candidate experience.
- Analyse sourcing channel effectiveness and continuously improve recruitment outcomes.
- Monitor labour market developments and build networks with universities, agencies and peer organisations.
- Translate job descriptions into realistic recruitment profiles and challenge stakeholders on feasibility and timelines.
- Act as a trusted recruitment partner for internal clients, driving commitment to a professional hiring process.
What you bring
- 5+ years of experience in HR, recruitment, payroll or HR operations within an international environment.
- Solid knowledge of Dutch HR legislation and social insurances.
- Experience working in changing or transforming organisations.
- Strong analytical and project management skills; able to turn data into actionable insights.
- A hands-on, resilient and proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with stakeholders at all levels.
- Comfortable working across cultures and locations.
- Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken.
- Available for 40 hours per week.
Why join?
- Be part of a disruptive, international organisation in a pivotal phase of change.
- Take ownership and make visible impact on how HR operates.
- Work in a European HR team of 10-15 professionals.
- Hybrid working: up to 50% remote.
- Flexible contract options, including freelance.
This is not a role that comes with ready-made answers. It is a role for someone who wants to build, improve and move HR forward in a complex and evolving environment.
