Location: Amsterdam (Hybrid)

Contract: Freelance Assignment

Duration: 6 month contract (extension possible)

Position:

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Change Manager to lead the change strategy and delivery for a company-wide Traveller Privacy Program. This strategic transformation aims to make traveller data safer, better governed, and easier to use responsibly while supporting innovation, AI initiatives, and long-term business objectives.

This is a highly visible role requiring someone who can operate confidently across complex stakeholder landscapes, influence senior leadership, and drive adoption of new privacy, governance, and data management capabilities across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Design and own the end-to-end change management and communications strategy for the Traveller Privacy Program.
• Lead stakeholder engagement across Product, Technology, Data, Legal, Privacy, Marketing, and Business teams.
• Conduct impact assessments and identify organisational readiness requirements.
• Develop and execute communication, engagement, and adoption plans.
• Build alignment among senior leaders across multiple business units.
• Translate complex data governance, privacy, and technical concepts into clear business messaging.
• Establish pragmatic governance and reporting processes.
• Identify and mitigate adoption risks, dependencies, and implementation challenges.
• Drive enterprise-wide adoption of privacy controls and data governance capabilities.
• Support transition from programme delivery into business-as-usual operations.

You have/are:

• 10+ years of Change Management experience within large, complex organisations.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-wide transformation programmes.
• Experience with GDPR, Privacy, Data Governance, Compliance, Risk, or Regulatory Change initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive influencing skills.
• Experience working within technology, digital, data, or platform-driven environments.
• Hands-on approach with experience delivering impact assessments, communications, readiness activities, and stakeholder engagement plans.
• Excellent communication and storytelling capability.
• Able to bring structure to ambiguous and fast-moving environments.
• Experience working across cross-functional teams and managing competing priorities.
• Familiarity with Prosci, ADKAR, or similar change management frameworks is advantageous.
• Privacy, Data Governance, or Risk-related certifications are a plus.
