About the Role

We are looking for a Data & AI Specialist who can help shape the future of software engineering and Agile ways of working in an increasingly AI-driven environment.

This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, artificial intelligence, Agile delivery and organisational enablement. You will work closely with engineering teams, Agile practitioners and leadership to improve how teams use data, measure performance and adopt AI-assisted ways of working.

Beyond designing reporting frameworks and extracting meaningful insights from data, you will play a key role in helping Agile teams understand how AI is transforming software development and engineering practices.

This is an ideal opportunity for a software engineer with a strong interest in AI, Agile methodologies and organisational transformation.

What You'll Do

AI Enablement & Adoption

• Drive practical adoption of AI tools and workflows across Agile teams.
• Research, prototype and implement AI-assisted ways of working.
• Help teams understand how generative AI and AI coding assistants impact modern software development.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, collaboration and decision-making through AI.

Engineering & Agile Transformation

• Support teams in evolving Agile practices for AI-assisted software development.
• Translate emerging engineering and AI trends into practical frameworks and guidance.
• Facilitate workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Coach Agile practitioners on the effective use of AI technologies.

Data & Measurement

• Design reporting solutions that provide visibility into transformation progress and team effectiveness.
• Build dashboards and measurement frameworks that enable evidence-based decision-making.
• Define and evolve metrics related to adoption, coaching outcomes and organisational effectiveness.
• Translate complex information into actionable insights for stakeholders.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with engineering teams, Agile practitioners, trainers and leadership.
• Contribute to organisation-wide discussions around AI, Agile and software engineering best practices.
• Act as a bridge between technical implementation and organisational change initiatives.

What You'll Bring

Essential

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Strong understanding of Agile software development environments.
• Practical experience applying Agile concepts within engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience working with AI and LLM-based tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude or similar technologies.
• Ability to teach, coach and enable others in adopting new technologies and ways of working.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience translating complex or ambiguous challenges into practical solutions.

Highly Desirable

• Experience building dashboards, reporting solutions or data products.
• Data modelling and analytics experience.
• Python experience for automation, reporting or data manipulation.
• Knowledge of engineering metrics and software delivery performance.
• Exposure to organisational transformation programmes.
