About the Role
What You'll Do
- Support daily accounting activities across multiple European entities.
- Prepare and post journal entries within Oracle ERP.
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist with VAT and Intrastat reporting.
- Support payroll-related accounting activities.
- Participate in statutory and corporate audits.
- Monitor transactions flowing from Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable into the General Ledger.
- Assist with intercompany reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance and Operations.
- Contribute to accounting process improvements and automation initiatives.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
- Up to 3 years of accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical and organisational skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Fluent English and German language skills.
- Knowledge of German GAAP (HGB).
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Oracle ERP experience.
- Exposure to multinational organizations.
- VAT reporting knowledge.
- Intrastat reporting experience.
- Intercompany accounting exposure.
