Contract: 10 months (via JP Gray)
JP Gray is supporting a leading global business in the search for a temporary FP&A Analyst to join their finance team in Rotterdam. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to play a key role in driving financial insight, forecasting, and performance analysis within a dynamic Polymers segment.
The Role
Reporting directly to the FP&A Director, you will take ownership of financial analysis, planning, and reporting activities-partnering closely with both finance and operational stakeholders to support decision-making and performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse monthly financial results, comparing actuals against budget and forecast, and present insights to senior finance and business leadership
- Lead the coordination and preparation of monthly forecasts (P&L and working capital)
- Maintain and continuously improve financial forecasting models
- Partner with manufacturing teams on cost reporting and margin analysis at plant level
- Deliver clear, actionable performance presentations to management
- Support capital expenditure proposals with robust financial analysis
- Coordinate annual budgeting processes for the segment
- Act as a key finance partner to the business and wider functions
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
Your Profile
- Degree in Business Economics, Finance or a related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in financial controlling / management reporting within an international environment
- Strong systems skills, including SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Highly analytical, with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
